Alexander L. and Joanne V. Gabbin

Alexander L. and Joanne V. Gabbin have focused on the advancement of black excellence in multiple fields like poetry and accounting throughout their time (19 years) at James Madison University. In 2005 Gabbin established the Furious Flower Poetry Center—the first such center at an American university—and is the centers executive director.
