Anne Collins ('67,'78)

Anne Collins (‘67,’78) established this scholarship in 2006. Anne graduated from the College of Arts and Letters with her BS and MA in History. She has made a career for herself by teaching history. She credits her career to Dr. Sidney R. Bland. Dr. Bland was her faculty advisor at JMU. Dr. Bland is a dedicated and awarded faculty member from JMU. He has been honored for his career with the title of faculty emeritus and with a Distinguished Service Award. The scholarship goes to an undergraduate student studying History in their sophomore or junior year.
