Bradley and Mary-Ellen ('77) Chewning

Bradley and Mary-Ellen (’77) Chewning established this scholarship in 2017. Mary-Ellen graduated from the College of Education with a MED in Reading Education. She and her husband are active donors and Mary Ellen is a member of the Duke Club. The two are also grandparents to a Duke. Their scholarship will be awarded to a junior, senior or fifth-year student with financial need who has declared and been fully accepted in the Special Education Preparation Program.
