Carol B. ('83), Tom ('83), and Andrew ('15) Hoy and Amanda Hoy Johnston ('12)

Carol B. (‘83), Tom (’83), and Andrew (‘15) Hoy and Amanda Hoy Johnston (’12) established this in 2021. Carol graduated with her BS in General Psychology from the College of Health and Behavioral Studies and as a student was involved with the University Program Board. Tom graduated with his BS from the College of Science and Mathematics and majored in Mathematics. He and his wife, Carol, are parents to Andrew and Amanda. Andrew graduated from the College of Integrated Science and Engineering with a BS in Integrated Science and Technology. As a student, he was involved with UREC’s Men’s Lacrosse team. Amanda graduated with a BS in Anthropology from the College of Arts and Letters. The Hoy family established this fund together. Dukes Pay It Forward is a call to action for alumni to make gifts that will ensure future generations of students have access to the Madison Experience that was so meaningful to them; and, ultimately, to inspire recipients of Dukes Pay It Forward scholarship awards to give back when they themselves have the means to do so.
