Drs. Kathleen G and Thomas H. Arthur

Drs. Kathleen G and Thomas H. Arthur established this scholarship in 2007. Dr. Kathleen is a retired faculty member from JMU’s Art and Art History program. She was awarded both a Madison Scholars award and Provost Award for Excellence during her career. Dr. Thomas Arthur is a retired faculty member from the JMU School of Theatre and Dance. He was awarded the title of faculty emeritus and JMU Distinguished Teacher award. This scholarship is for students, in the School of Art, Design and Art History who are applying to be a part of the Semester in Florence.
