Friends and family of Robert Michael Harper ('81).

In May 1992, the Robert Michael Harper Memorial Scholarship was established by friends and family in honor and memory of Robert Michael Harper (’81).

Michael graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology in 1981. He had been a member of the football team and Alpha Chi Rho. He was an avid skier, hunter and golfer and was a member of a kayak club in Pittsburgh, PA. He worked as a hydro-geologist with the Department of Environmental Resources in Crawford County, PA.
