Joe and Pam Damico

Joe and Pam Damico live in Illinois. Pam, a 1977 graduate of JMU’s College of Education. Joseph served his alma mater as a member of the JMU Board of Visitor from 2003 to 2011, including time as Board Rector from 2006 to 2008. President Emeritus Linwood Rose stated that Joe “provided steadfast and reliable leadership” through significant moments of transition and transformation. When Rose announced his retirement, the university called upon Joe to serve as the chair of the presidential search. Joe invested his time and talents to help Madison find another extraordinary leader to build upon its distinctive identity. Joe and Pam have been philanthropic leaders to the university.
