The McDonald Bradley Scholarship for Leadership in the College of Business was established in 2009 (amended in 2013) by Kenneth R. Bartee (‘83) and Sharon Schaaf. The purpose of the gift is to provide financial resources annually to one or more outstanding rising junior or senior students. To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be enrolled in or accepted to the College of Business with a declared major in Computer Information Systems or Management; be enrolled in (or have completed) the COB 300 course; have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale) at the time of application and be a resident advisor or hall director for a James Madison University residence hall.
The McDonald Bradley Scholarship shall be awarded in a manner determined at the discretion of the Dean for the College of Business based on this stated criteria. Beyond the above criteria, the appointment of a student to receive this scholarship shall follow the university’s guidelines for the awarding of scholarships.
