White Scholarship in Educational Leadership

An annual scholarship established by Marie Caton (’57) White.

To be named a Robert and Marie White Scholar, recipients must be a graduate student residing in Virginia, enrolled in the College of Education’s Educational Leadership Master’s & Certificate Program with demonstrated financial need. The scholarship is renewable up to one year. The selection of Robert and Marie White Scholars shall be made each year in a manner determined by the Dean and Associate Dean of the College of Education, in coordination with the Program Director for Educational Leadership and will follow the university’s guidelines for the awarding of scholarships. If the Educational Leadership Master’s and Certificate Program ceases to exist or there are no qualified candidates in a given year, then the scholarship may go to a graduate student in the College of Education’s Masters of Arts program.
