Dukes Care Nursing Scholarship Endowment in the School of Nursing

An endowed scholarship established by Christina M. Frey (’94) and Jeffrey A. Cohn (’94).

The recipient must be admitted to the School of Nursing and be a Junior or a rising Junior with preference given to students who show interest in a career as a nurse in primary care. Potential recipients must submit an essay (500 words) stating their interest in the nursing program and their career aspirations and plans. The scholarship is automatically renewed the student’s Senior year as long as the criteria continues to be met. Dukes Care Nursing Scholarship awards will be made at the discretion of the Director of the School of Nursing, in consultation with the School of Nursing faculty. Beyond these criteria, the selection of the scholarship recipients will follow the University’s guidelines for the awarding of scholarships.
