EY Excellence in Accounting Scholarship Endowment
An endowed scholarship established by Ernst and Young LLP in support of the College of Business through gifts to the James Madison University Foundation, Inc. for the benefit of James Madison University .
EY Excellence in Accounting Scholarship Endowment will provide financial resources annually for students enrolled in the College of Business and pursuing a degree in the School of Accounting. Preference will be given to students with a 3.0 GPA or higher who demonstrate academic success, leadership and commitment to the field of Accounting. Scholarships will be awarded annually for as many students as funds are available at the discretion of the Director of the School of Accounting, in consultation with accounting department faculty, and will follow the University’s guidelines for the awarding of scholarships. The endowment is intended to provide students with up to a $5,000 annual scholarship as the endowment allocation permits, with a minimum of two scholarships per year. In perpetuity, each scholarship recipient will be recognized as an “EY Excellence in Accounting Scholar”.
