McDannald Family Scholarship Endowment

“An endowed scholarship established by Brenda Lacks McDannald (‘67).

Scholarships will be awarded annually to one undergraduate student whose primary residence is in the Southside area of the Commonwealth of Virginia, specifically the counties of Halifax, Pittsylvania, Campbell, Charlotte, and Mecklenburg, and the City of Danville, with preference to those students who demonstrate financial need as determined by the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships. The scholarship is renewable as long as the student continues to meet the criteria and remains in good academic standing. Scholarships will be awarded at the discretion of the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships, following the University’s guidelines for the awarding of scholarships."
