The John Dufour Memorial Scholarship Endowment in the Hart School of Hospitality, Sport and Recreation Management

An endowed scholarship established by The John Dufour Memorial Scholarship Foundation with a gift to the James Madison University Foundation, Inc. for the benefit of James Madison University.

Annual allocations from the endowment will provide one scholarship for one student per year. Recipients must be undergraduate Hospitality Management majors and residents of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Preference will be given to those who demonstrate financial need as determined by the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships. The scholarship is renewable as long as the student continues to meet the criteria. Scholarships will be awarded at the discretion of the Director of the Hart School and will follow the University’s guidelines for the awarding of scholarships.
