Hattie M. Strong Foundation Scholarship Program

An annual scholarship established with funds from the Hattie M. Strong Foundation to support two $5,000 scholarships for students in their final year of an undergraduate or graduate program leading to initial licensure in education. Recipients should be chosen based on the following criteria in descending order of importance: - Students in their final year of study

- Undergraduate students who have exhibited outstanding success and enthusiasm in field experiences prior to the final year of the program or graduate students whose life experiences prior to enrollment reveal the same traits.
- Students with demonstrated financial need.
- Students who have achieved a minimum 3.0 GPA in the two semesters prior to their final year.

Selection will be made by a committee comprised of education faculty and financial aid staff.
