Anna Moffatt McCormick '50 Strings Scholarship Endowment

An endowed scholarship established with a gift from Anna Moffatt McCormick, a member of the Class of 1950, to support scholarships for students in the Strings program within the JMU School of Music, a purpose that honors her own love for classical music and her passion for the violin. The scholarships may be awarded either on the basis of merit or need, at the discretion of the Dean for the College of Visual & Performing Arts; and, in the event that a potential scholarship recipient’s need for financial assistance is the basis for the selection, then the determination as to need shall be made by the university’s office of financial aid & scholarships.
