Kay Norton (‘70) Memorial Scholarship Endowment

An endowed scholarship established by Sherry Gryder and Robyn Motley, honoring the memory of Kay Norton by supporting others entering the field of Health and Physical Education.

This scholarship will provide financial resources annually to two students who are in their junior or senior year of study, have declared a concentration in Physical and Health Education Teacher Education, and demonstrate financial need as determined by the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships. The scholarship is renewable for one year as long as the student continues to meet the criteria. Scholarships will be awarded at the discretion of the Department Head of Kinesiology following the University’s guidelines for the awarding of scholarships. If in the future there is no longer a teacher licensure program for physical and health education, the scholarship will move to the teacher licensure program in the College of Education with all other criteria remaining.
