Moncol (’76) Scholarship Endowment for the College of Education

An endowed scholarship established with an estate gift from Deborah G. Moncol (’76).

Through this scholarship endowment, Ms. Moncol intends to assist students who demonstrate the desire to study Education and have a need for financial assistance, as determined by the University’s Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships. To qualify as a Moncol (’76) scholar, the recipient must reside in the Commonwealth of Virginia; be in pursuit of teacher licensure from the College of Education; and maintain a Grade Point Average of 3.0 . Selections of the scholarship recipients will be made by the Dean’s Office in the College of Education and follow the University’s guidelines for the awarding of scholarships.
