The William J. and Mary G. McMurray Scholarship

An endowed scholarship established by William J. and Mary G. McMurray to support a scholarship to provide long term support for the academic programs, especially English and/or American Literature. Awards must be made on a competitive basis to outstanding JMU students who are enrolled full time. Outstanding academic achievement will be determined by JMU. Recipients must have demonstrated financial need and have a serious interest in English and American Literature.
