Charles Steven Smith (‘71, ‘75M) Legacy Scholarship Endowment

The Charles Steven Smith (’71, ’75M) Legacy Scholarship Endowment was established as the result of an endeavor by the JMU Alumni Relations Office with gifts to the James Madison University Foundation for the benefit of James Madison University.

The Charles Steven Smith (‘71, ’75M) Legacy Scholarship Endowment will support an annual scholarship to a deserving student who has a direct alumni legacy relationship and demonstrates financial need as defined by the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships. The scholarship will be administered by the JMU Alumni Relations Office. Beyond this criteria, the selection of the scholarship recipients will follow the university’s guidelines for the awarding of scholarships.
