Alcantara Memorial Endowment in Nursing

A term endowed scholarship established by Thomas and Maria-Lorna Knoblauch to memorialize their daughter Victoria F. Alcantara. This fund will provide for one scholarship in Nursing at the equivalent to one-half of in-state tuition. To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must (a) have been accepted into the undergraduate Nursing program at James Madison University, and (b) have a grade point average of 3.25 or higher (on a 4.0 scale) after at least four semesters of study at the time the student is considered for this scholarship. The selection for this scholarship award shall be made in a manner determined at the discretion of the Director of the School of Nursing (or its successor academic unit).
