George and Shelley Payne Family Scholarship Endowment for Valley Scholars within the Honors College

An endowed scholarship established by Shelley H. and George L. (’79) Payne, Jr.

Annual allocations from the endowment will provide scholarships to students with demonstrated financial need as determined by the Office of Financial Aid who are participating in the Valley Scholars Program and have been accepted into the University’s Honors College. It is intended that this scholarship will be in addition to other qualifying University financial aid or scholarships and is not intended to replace aid or scholarship funds otherwise available to this need based student. Awards will be made to one or more students at the discretion of the Dean of the Honors College and follow the University’s guidelines for awarding scholarships.
