Lynn S. Fichter Experiential Scholarship in Geology and Environmental Sciences

An annual scholarship established by Harlan L. Rexrode, Jr. (’79).

This scholarship will provide support for student research and field studies. Recipients must be full-time rising Junior or rising Senior students who are in good academic standing and enrolled in a major in the Department of Geology and Environmental Sciences, with preference given to students majoring in the Bachelor of Science in Geology. Recipients must demonstrate financial need as determined by the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships. The number of scholarships awarded each year is not restricted. Scholarships will be administered at the discretion of the Department Head for Geology and Environmental Sciences, in consultation with the department’s Scholarship Committee, following the University’s guidelines for the awarding of scholarships.
