Jonathan R. and Mary Ann B. Alger Scholarship Endowment for Valley Scholars

An endowed scholarship established by Jonathan R. and Mary Ann B. Alger.

Valley Scholars is a University initiative designed to remove the financial barriers that might otherwise prevent promising students in the Shenandoah Valley with high financial need from attending college. The scholarship is to be awarded to students enrolled at James Madison University who have successfully completed the Valley Scholars program through high school. The scholarship is renewable with continued financial need eligibility. Scholarships will be awarded at the discretion of the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships and follow the University’s guidelines for awarding of scholarships.
