Women for Sport, Recreation and Equality Scholarship Endowment

An endowed scholarship established with an endeavor funded with gifts received from the Women in Sport and Recreation Management student organization, Hart School Advisory Council members, faculty & staff, alumni, parents, and friends of the Hart School.

This endowment will provide funds annually to support a scholarship for an underrepresented undergraduate or graduate student studying Sport and Recreation Management in the Hart School of Hospitality, Sport and Recreation Management whose talents, skills and abilities enable them to enrich the James Madison University community. The student must be in good academic standing. The scholarship may be renewed for one or more years as long as the student continues to meet the criteria. Scholarships will be awarded at the discretion of the Director of the Hart School and will follow the University’s guidelines for the awarding of scholarships.
