Majors Family Scholarship Endowment for Valley Scholars

An endowed scholarship established by the Devine-Majors Foundation wtih a gift to the James Madison University Foundation, Inc. for the benefit of James Madison University.

The purpose of this gift is to establish The Majors Family Scholarship Endowment for Valley Scholars. Valley Scholars is a University initiative designed to remove the financial barriers that might otherwise prevent promising students in the Shenandoah Valley with high financial need from attending college. Annual allocations from the endowment will provide scholarships for need based student(s) participating in the Valley Scholars Program and attending James Madison University, with preference for those students from Augusta County. The scholarship is renewable with continued financial need eligibility. Scholarships will be awarded at the discretion of the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships and follow the University’s guidelines for the awarding of scholarships associated with the Valley Scholars Program.
