The Ronald E. & Edith J. Carrier Scholarship Endowment is for students entering their first year of study at James Madison University,

The Donors’ specific intention by this gift is to influence one (or more) student(s) who have been offered admission to James Madison University and are considering such an offer to make the decision to attend JMU. For this reason, the selection determination(s) regarding this Scholarship need must be made and announced early in the decision process so this scholarship may fulfill its purpose and serve as an effective influence on the student’s decision. Each year, one (or more) new entering first-year student(s) will be selected to receive this Scholarship.
