Taschek Family Scholarship Endowment in English

An endowed scholarship established by John W. (’86) and Lynda Taschek.

This endowment will provide resources annually to a full-time undergraduate student who is an English major with a 3.3 GPA in this major and overall good academic standing. Students may apply or be nominated by faculty for selection. At the time of application or nomination for this scholarship, the student must have completed at least three English courses at James Madison University. Eligible students may be considered to receive the scholarship more than one time. The scholarship will be awarded at the discretion of the Academic Unit Head of English, in collaboration with the English Department Awards Committee and in consultation with the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships, and will follow the University’s guidelines for the awarding of scholarships.
