Scott M. Causey Music Scholarship Endowment-School of Music, JMU

An endowed scholarship established by Maria Recio Causey (’84) in memory of her husband, Scott M. Causey (’84). As to the selection of the “Causey Scholar” to receive tuition awards, the appointment shall be made according to the following criteria:

-Student must be in good academic standing at JMU
-Student must be either a Music Major or Minor, with a preference for a Music Industry scholar
-Scholarship may be made annually to one or more students and may be used for recruiting or for currently enrolled student(s)

Award will be determined at the discretion of the Director of the School of Music in consultation with the Academic Unit Head of the Music Industry program.
