Student Government Association Leadership Scholarship

An annual scholarship available to members of the Student Government Association (SGA). Recipients must be students who are part- or full-time freshmen, sophomores or juniors. Applicants will respond to two questions provided by the Student Government Association. All applications will be reviewed by faculty advisors to SGA. The faculty advisors to SGA will then recommend recipients based on meeting the above criteria and responses to the application questions. Two $1,500 scholarships will be awarded annually, to be disbursed in increments of $750 each for Fall and Spring semesters, based on availability of funds.

Beyond the above criteria, the appointment of a student to receive this award will follow the University’s guidelines for the awarding of scholarships.
