Marie B. Baird & Sannie B. Baird Scholarship

Established by Kenneth W. Coker of Waverly, Virginia, in memory of his aunts, Marie Baird and Sannie Baird, school teachers in Southside, Virginia. Scholarship will be awarded to student(s) who are declared as seeking a teaching certificate and have completed 60 credit hours successfully. Financial need and academic quality shall be considered. First preference will be given to students from the Tidewater/Southside Virginia area.
