Doris Hover Farquhar Endowed Scholarship Fund

An endowed scholarship established by Joyce M. “Molly” Wood ’55 to support a scholarship where funds will be provided annually to outstanding undergraduate students who demonstrate a need for financial assistance, as determined by the University’s Office of Financial Aid. The scholarship will honor the memory of Doris Hover Farquhar, a dear friend who placed tremendous value on the importance of education.

The appointment of a student as a Doris Hover Farquhar Scholar shall follow the University’s guidelines for the awarding of scholarships with the following additional conditions. To qualify for the scholarship award students must:

- Have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- (If the scholarship is being renewed) have received the scholarship for no more than three years previously.
