Faculty/Staff Scholarship

An endowed scholarship established by the JMU Office of Scholarships and was funded with donations from JMU
faculty and staff.

The recipient must be an incoming, first year, undergraduate JMU student and resident of Virginia; have a strong academic record; and show potential for exceptional non-academic contributions to the betterment and recognition of JMU and the Commonwealth of Virginia. If provided, SAT scores must be at least 1,100 with no less than 500 in either the verbal or math sections. Recipients shall be selected at the discretion of the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships and follow the University’s guidelines for the awarding of scholarships.
