Don Chodrow Memorial Scholarship Endowment
An endowed scholarship established from an endeavor by friends, colleagues and faculty members that honors and memorializes a special person and an outstanding individual, Dr. Don Chodrow.
At the time of Don’s passing he was an assistant professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy. Don played a critical role in the development of the department and was a strong voice for our students. He served on department, college and university committees to craft our curriculum.
This scholarship endowment will provide financial resources annually for one or more outstanding undergraduate student scholars in Department of Physics and Astronomy. To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher (on a 4.0 scale) after at least four semesters of study. The selection of Don Chodrow Scholar(s) will be made in a manner determined at the discretion of the Head for the Department of Physics and Astronomy.
