Byrnes Family Scholarship Fund-Single Parent Household

An annual scholarship established with a gift from the Byrnes Family Foundation.

To be eligible, students must be Virginia residents, rising full-time Juniors or Seniors, and maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher. This scholarship will be awarded equally over two semesters to two students from a single parent household who demonstrate significant financial need as determined by the Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships. Scholarships can be renewed one time as long as the student continues to meet the criteria, as funds are available. The selection of recipients shall be made at the discretion of the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships and follow the University’s guidelines for the awarding of scholarships.
