Bain Family Scholarship Endowment

An endowed scholarship established by Philip Bain, Jr. (’85) and Hannah B. Bain in loving memory of Jack P. Bain Sr., which will provide financial resources annually to one or more students who will be in their junior or senior year of undergraduate studies. To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must have a declared major in the College of Business and/or the College of Visual & Performing Arts. Furthermore, this scholarship will be awarded to a student whose home residence is located in the counties of Sussex, Surry, Southampton or Isle of Wight, Va. In the event there are no students from these counties, the scholarship may be awarded to any student at large. Also, preference will be given to a student with demonstrated financial need and a GPA of 3.25 or greater. The selection of the Bain Family Scholars will be made in a manner determined at the discretion of the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships.
