Sandra K. Lacks (’72, ’78) Scholarship Fund in the College of Education

An annual scholarship established by Sandra K. Lacks (’72, ’78) to provide financial resources annually for one Junior-level student pursuing Elementary Education PreK-6 licensure in the College of Education who demonstrates financial need as determined by the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships. The scholarship is renewable until the student completes the initial-licensure program requirements. To be eligible for this scholarship, students must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher. Preference will be given to students whose primary residence is in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Scholarships will be awarded in a manner determined by the Dean of the College of Education, or designee, in collaboration with the University’s Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships..
