Bishard Family Entrepreneurial Scholarship Endowment

An endowed scholarship established by Steven W. and Rebecca J. Bishard.

The Bishard Family Scholar award will be given to an incoming freshman from Norfolk Christian School in Norfolk, First Colonial High School in Virginia Beach City, Kempsville High School in Virginia Beach City or Kellam High School in Virginia Beach City with first preference being given to an incoming freshman from Norfolk Christian School. In a year when a student from one of these four high schools does not qualify, another student from the Virginia Beach area may be considered. Preference shall be given to a student with an interest in a major in the College of Business and/or previous involvement in an organization such as Young Life or similar youth organization. Financial need will be a consideration but is not a requirement. Scholarships are renewable as long as the student maintains a GPA of 3.00 or higher. Scholarships will be awarded at the discretion of the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships and follow the University’s guidelines for awarding of scholarships. "
