Class of 1946 Endowed Scholarship

An endowed scholarship established by Mildred Andra Witten, along with her classmates, in honor of the members of the Class of 1946 to benefit a full-time JMU student who demonstrates a financial need, who carries a 2.75 minimum grade point average, and who is a U. S. citizen. It is desired that the same student receive this scholarship for their four years at JMU. If at any time the student recipient fails to meet the requirements or when the student graduates, a new student will be selected based on the established criteria. Additional scholarships will be awarded when expendable-earnings are sufficient to fund the total costs of education for another recipient. The University Scholarship Committee will select the scholarship recipient based on the criteria presented above.
