Spitzer (Alpha) Family Scholarship for Mathematics & Science Education

An endowed scholarship established by Alpha Spitzer honoring the Spitzer Family. The scholarship is intended to benefit a JMU student who meets the following criteria: This recipient should be a student from Rockingham or Fairfax County VA, who is a Mathematics or Science major in the secondary education program. The preference is for the same student to have this scholarship throughout his/her JMU enrollment. If at any time the student recipient fails to meet the requirements or when the student graduates, a new student will be selected based on the established criteria. The scholarship recipient will be selected by the College of Education Scholarship Committee.
