Christopher Carl Hoffman Scholarship

An endowed scholarship established with a bequest from Christopher Carl Hoffman. The sole and specific purpose of this scholarship is to generate income for student financial assistance program. Awards must be made on a competitive basis to outstanding JMU students who are enrolled full-time. Outstanding achievement will be determined by JMU. Recipients shall be selected by appropriate representatives from the School of Education identified by the Dean of the College of Education and Psychology. Recipients shall be selected annually with preference given but not limited to students from W. T. Woodson High School and Fairfax County with a demonstrated interest in the career of teaching.
