Joanne V. Gabbin Scholarship Endowment

An endowed scholarship established by Dr. Maureen G. Shanahan, Director of the Honors Program, along with the faculty, friends, and alumni participating in this endeavor, to honor Dr. Joanne Gabbin and her 19 years of service to the Honors Program (now the Honors College) at James Madison University.

It is intended that through this scholarship, funds will be provided annually to an outstanding undergraduate student scholar who (a) is a member of the Honors College and (b) demonstrates financial need, as determined by the University’s Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships.
