Agnes Mason Price '35 Family Scholarship
An endowed scholarship originally established by Agnes Mason Price honoring her immediate family members and because of her relationship with James Madison University as a 1935 graduate. This endowment will support a scholarship to one or more outstanding undergraduate students who demonstrate the need for financial assistance, as determined by the University’s Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships. First priority shall be given to students from Madison County, Virginia. In the event that there are no students from Madison County eligible for this scholarship in a particular year, then second priority shall be given to students from Culpeper, Greene, Orange or Rappahannock Counties in Virginia. In the event that there are no students from these counties in a particular year, then the ultimate priority shall be given to students from the Commonwealth of Virginia.
The student may receive this scholarship for up to three additional academic years; provided, however, that if the student’s chosen field of study is Education, then the student may receive this scholarship for up to four additional academic years.
