Judith A. Flohr Scholarship Fund

An annual scholarship established by Dr. Eva M. McMahan. The scholarship is to be awarded annually to a graduate student who would like to further pursue their study and research in girl’s and women’s health and fitness. To be eligible, a student must have met all requirements to be accepted into the Exercise Science Graduate Program, demonstrated excellence as an undergraduate, have two faculty recommendations from their undergraduate school, and have done research and/or physical activity or outreach in girl’s and women’s health and wellness. Once a student is named a Flohr Scholar, this scholarship may be renewed for one year as long as the recipient meets the above mentioned criteria. Recipients will be selected in a manner determined at the discretion of the Director of the Morrison-Bruce Center in consultation with the Exercise Science Graduate Faculty, or their equivalent at the time the award is made.
