Elizabeth Conway Nass Scholarship Endowment

An endowed scholarship established by Susan Hogan and Eric Nass with family and community support following a tragic accident that claimed the life of their daughter, Elizabeth Conway Nass in 2012. This endowment will support a scholarship for a Mt. Hebron High School (Ellicott City, MD) graduate who is an incoming freshman at James Madison University with a preference for a major or minor in Education. If there are no students admitted from Mt. Hebron High School, the award will be made to a graduate from Howard County Public Schools with a preference for a student with an Education major or minor. Special consideration for community service and extra-curricular participation can be used in the selection process. The scholarship will be renewed for up to three years, as long as the recipient maintains a 3.0 GPA.
