Carol Carter Fitzgerald Elementary Education Scholarship Fund

An endowed scholarship established by Lillian and Warren Braun in honor of Carol Carter Fitzgerald ‘68, because of her excellence in teaching. This scholarship is intended to benefit a College of Education student at JMU who plans to complete teacher licensure requirements in the area of Elementary Education, and who has a financial need. If at any time the student recipient fails to meet the requirements, a new student will be selected based on the established criteria. Additional scholarships will be awarded when expendable-earnings are sufficient to fund the total costs of education for another recipient. The scholarship recipient will be selected by the College of Education Scholarship Committee.
