R. Bradley and Mary-Ellen (’77) Chewning Special Education Scholarship Endowment

An endowed scholarship established by R. Bradley and Mary-Ellen (’77) Chewning. Through this renewable scholarship, funds will be provided annually to support one scholarship. The scholarship will be awarded to a junior, senior or fifth-year student with financial need who has declared and been fully accepted in the Special Education Preparation Program. The student who plans to become a special education teacher for students K-12 grades with intellectual disabilities and has the greatest financial need will be selected. The scholarships will be awarded at the discretion of the Dean of the College of Education in consultation with the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships and will follow the university’s guidelines for the awarding of scholarships.
