Strode Endowed Scholarship- College Science & Math

An endowed scholarship to be established with a testamentary gift from J. T. Strode III (’92). This scholarship will assist outstanding students who are enrolled full time and in pursuit of a major in Chemistry or Biology. Preference will be given to a Chemistry Major with a GPA of 3.0 or greater. The selection of the Strode Scholars shall be made by the Dean’s Office in the College of Science and Mathematics and follow the university’s guidelines for the awarding of scholarships that are in effect at the time this gift is received. Once a student is named a Strode Scholar, this scholarship may be renewed for up to two consecutive years if the recipient remains in good standing and maintains a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
