Rusty (’83) and Teresa (’84) Hammond Academic Scholarship Fund

An annual Scholarship established by Jack A. Hammond, II (’83) and Teresa H. Hammond (’84) to provide funds annually to support scholarships for sophomores, juniors, or seniors majoring in either a STEM field or in the College of Business. Hammond Scholarship recipients’ primary residence shall be in one of the following counties or a municipality within these counties: Craig, Botetourt, Alleghany, Rockbridge, Bath, and Highland. As long as a recipient remains a 2.5 GPA and continues to meet all other criteria, the scholarship is renewable for up to two years. Scholarships will be awarded in a manner determined by the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships and shall follow the University’s guidelines for the awarding of scholarships.
