Hillcrest Honors Scholarship Endowment

An endowed scholarship established through an endeavor with gifts and pledges from alumni and friends of the University. Anne l. Collins provided the lead gift.

The scholarship will fall within the guidelines of the University’s Hillcrest Scholarships and provide opportunities for honors students to engage in transformative off-campus enrichment experiences. Scholarships are available to outstanding students with Sophomore or Junior standing-by credits based on the quality of their proposed project, on their academic achievements and intellectual promise, and on their ability to make a significant contribution to society in the future.

As a secondary preference, in the event the Hillcrest Scholarship competition does not take place or a qualifying candidate is not identified in a given year, the scholarship may benefit an outstanding undergraduate student scholar in Honors who wishes to study abroad. The selection of recipients will be made at the discretion of the Dean of the Honors College following the University’s guidelines for the awarding of scholarships.
