Valerie Craven Riley Pre-Physical Therapy Scholarship Endowment

An endowed scholarship established by William Thomas Riley, Jr. (‘79) and Valerie A. Riley.

Annual allocations from the endowment will provide a scholarship to a rising senior with a minor in Pre-Physical Therapy and a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25. Preference will be given to applicants with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher that have an interest in Pediatric Physical Therapy. Applicants will be asked to complete a personal statement providing examples of their interests in Pediatric Physical Therapy, including but not limited to classwork relevant to pediatrics and/or prior experience working with children. Preference will also be given to first-generation students. Scholarships will be awarded at the discretion of the Director of Pre-Professional Health Advising following the University’s guidelines for the awarding of scholarships.
